celeste camfield
celeste camfield is a dance artist based in austin, texas. she grew up dancing in the texas hill country and has studied at MARYMOUNT MANHATTAN COLLEGE, P.A.R.T.S summer school, IMPULSTANZ VIENNA, HUBBARD STREET DANCE CHICAGO, and ALONZO KING LINES BALLET. Since moving to austin in 2019, she has performed with ARCOS, BLiPSWiTCH, and KDH, as well as many independent choreographers. she is also the co-founder of PREHEAT FEST, a dance film festival that started in her east austin backyard in 2022.
she likes moving really fast, well-folded laundry, and the smell of fig leaves. celeste is no stranger to sweat, and looks forward to spilling much of her own at KINA.
