christy mitchell
Christina Mitchell is a dance artist and educator who loves creating sweaty dance magic that revels in the wildly gross and beautiful experience of being human. Her research is anchored in collaborative practices that explore rigorous presence and sensitivity.
She believes that moving collectively gifts us the capacity to rage, grieve, love and flourish - the body in movement a potent vehicle for endless iterations of transmutation.
Mitchell holds an MFA in dance from the University of Colorado Boulder and is currently developing her own work and dancing with Allysen Hooks Projects and Rushtopfish. She is thrilled to be a part of the KINA team and looks forward to building joy, strength, and resiliency together!
